Why this product should exist.
The Problem
When two people meet in real life, staying connected usually means sharing a phone number or social profile before trust is established. Traditional dating apps solve digital discovery, but they do not provide a purpose-built safety buffer for a connection that already started in person.
The Idea
Bring the matching, messaging and unmatching mechanics of a dating app to real-world encounters without requiring people to exchange personal contact information immediately.
The Solution
Clik combines static personal QR codes, a mobile web onboarding flow and a native app connection. Scanners can recognize the person, create a fast profile and complete the match, while both sides use Clik as a private communication layer until they decide to exchange real contact details.
Target Users
Singles and socially active adults who meet people at bars, events, gyms, coffee shops or parties and want a safer, more intentional way to continue the connection.
What the product does.
Clik QR Sharing
A static personal QR code can be shown from the app, saved to a phone wallet or placed on a physical card.
Web-Based Match Onboarding
The scanner sees a minimal profile preview and can create a fast account in the browser before downloading the app.
Dating & Friends Categories
The person sharing the code chooses the connection context so romantic and platonic matches remain organized separately.
In-App Messaging
Matched users can communicate without immediately revealing phone numbers or crowded social profiles.
Clik Verified
Optional identity verification can add a trust badge without requiring the platform to store sensitive ID data directly.
Clik Safe
An optional trusted-contact notification adds a safety layer around new real-world connections.
How the product creates value.
This is a strategic product map—not a fabricated interface. It shows the core modules currently defining the experience while real product media is still being prepared.
